Cline Cares: We’re Thankful for You
We are incredibly privileged to be in the jewelry business, and we owe a huge part of our success to our local Edmonds community. Beyond supporting us and assisting in our growth, our community is a part of our history and identity. We value the relationships we’ve forged with our loyal customers and we hold every one of you close to our hearts. At Cline, giving back to our community is something we take seriously, and we place high importance on staying actively involved in local organizations, community philanthropy, and supporting small businesses like ourselves. Additionally, having the ability to make financial contributions to nonprofits in our area is an honor and privilege.
At the heart of the local business is the community. The relationships we create give our work purpose. Supporting other small businesses gives us intention. Seeing our community grow fills us with happiness. We rely on you. Without you, our business and the businesses that make up our community would not exist and continue to thrive like they are today. We are in this together. Every member of our community has an individual role, working with one another to bring something great to Edmonds.
Every time you support local businesses, you’re showing commitment, intention, and compassion. You’re investing in your community’s future, which in turn inspires us to invest in it as well. We want to see Edmonds grow, thrive, and prosper. A place we are proud to watch our children grow. A place we can’t wait to get back to when we’re away. A remarkable place to call home.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You. Thank you for being Edmonds!
Below are just a few Edmonds events and activities we were excited, honored, and privileged to participate in.
Art is at the heart of what we do, which is why we feel it is so important to respect and acknowledge our blossoming art community of abundantly talented artisans right here in our own backyard. Cline recently hosted a Shine with Cline event, in which customers could purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win their choice of a diamond bracelet or diamond ring. All proceeds from the tickets went towards supporting the Edmonds Center for the Arts and their mission of bettering the lives of the Edmonds community through performing arts and art education. Our owner, Andy Cline, also serves on board of the Edmonds Center for the Arts, an organization he is honored to be involved in.
For Valentine’s Day this year, we felt it would only be right to show our support for the small businesses that make Edmonds such a vibrant and special community. We recently hosted a “Love Local” event where customers who purchased pieces from our store in February were given gift cards to redeem at a few of the many local businesses in Edmonds we support and hold dear. A few of these businesses were Salish Brewery, Field Flowers, and Walnut Street Coffee.
Our Cline Jewelers family had a blast celebrating the Fourth of July with our community this year. We decked out our own golf cart into a festive parade float, tossed out candy to the crowd, and enjoyed spending America's birthday with all of Edmonds!
This year, we celebrated our 41st anniversary. Wow, what an incredible journey! When you support a small business, you are supporting a dream. To thank you for making our dreams come true, we offered free ring cleanings and a chance to win a pair of 1 ctw diamond stud earrings. Thank you for being a big part of our Cline family!
To us, you’re all family. We absolutely love celebrating the holidays with you. In Edmonds, there are so many fantastic holiday traditions we feel honored to be a part of. Our Cline family loves to partake in the Holiday Market, where more than sixty local vendors offer food, gifts, and camaraderie. Every year, we hang a wreath designed by a local artist in our storefront window. Customers are able to bid on the wreath for a chance to hang as their own decor on the front of their home! We also delight in being one of the local businesses that partake in the Ornament Stroll, an Edmonds event where you can collect unique ornaments from businesses like us! Another one of our favorite traditions is the Tree Lighting Ceremony downtown. We always look forward to sitting with our friends and neighbors around mugs of hot cocoa to share in laughter and cheer.
We feel very privileged to be in a position of giving back to our community, as it has given so much to our Cline Family over the years. The Edmonds Senior Center launched a capital campaign with the intention of building a new sustainable community facility, named the Edmonds Waterfront Center, that serves citizens of all ages. We’re honored in our ability to donate funds towards the maintenance, programming, and construction of this incredible facility that has become a gathering place for our entire community.
Again, we’d like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being such a large part of who we are as a business, assisting in our growth, and helping us bring our dream to life. We’re beyond fortunate to be a part of this community, and we’re proud knowing our roots always stem from Edmonds.
